Everything You Need to Know About Concrete Installation

Most residential driveways take 2-4 days from start to finish. Day one involves site prep, grading, and forms. Day two is the concrete pour and finish work. After that, we need 24-48 hours of curing time before you can walk on it, and 7 days before driving on it. Weather conditions can affect the timeline, and we'll never rush a pour if conditions aren't ideal.
Stamped concrete uses specialized tools and mats to create texture and patterns that mimic natural materials like stone, brick, or slate. We add color during the pour or apply it afterward, then stamp the pattern while the concrete is still workable. It costs more than standard concrete but significantly less than actual stone, and it provides the same durability with much better aesthetics. It's especially popular for patios, walkways, and pool decks.
Yes, we coordinate all required permits and inspections for structural concrete work in Sumner County and surrounding areas. For foundation footings, basement slabs, and other structural pours, we schedule inspections before and after the concrete is placed to ensure everything meets Tennessee building codes. If you're working with a general contractor, we'll coordinate directly with them to keep the project on schedule.
We handle both new construction and repair work. For existing concrete, we offer crack repair, surface resurfacing, and concrete overlays. Depending on the extent of damage, we can sometimes restore an old driveway or patio for much less than the cost of complete replacement. We'll assess your concrete and recommend the most cost-effective solution during our free on-site consultation.
